The article explores the main features of Sino-European relations, which were analysed by the well-known Russian scientist M. Nosov. This paper focuses on participation of European Union member countries in the Chinese geo-economic project, the “Belt and Road” Initiative. The topic is relevant due to the fact that most EU member countries are members of the Asian infrastructure investment Bank, as well as participate in projects of transport infrastructure development in Europe, which are financed by the Chinese investors.
